3. Putting On Sunscreen Too Sparingly or Too Late
We sometimes note people are putting on sunscreen only after their skin begin to heat up or turn red. Most even find sunscreen sticky and causes other uncomfortable feelings after application, hence resulting in a reluctance to use sunscreen or if they do so, they apply only a thin layer.
However, it is important to note that an insufficient amount of sunscreen does not provide the kind of protection your skin needs from the sun. Limited protection will actually increase the chances of UV rays penetration, and you don’t want that.
There are sunscreen products which come with formulas that do not cause stickiness and make it comfortable to wear on yourskin. All you have to do is find the right product. It is also imperative to apply the sunscreen at least 15 minutes before sun exposure so that the formula has ample time to form a protective layer on your skin.
